Saratoga Restaurant Equipment Sales was founded in 1998 by Dave Hummel after many successful years of working in refrigeration and equipment installation and repair. Dave recognized that foodservice operators were running into road blocks when obtaining sound purchasing information and customers were turning to him more and more for advice.

From that, the concept of a different kind of foodservice equipment dealer was developed. This evolved into Saratoga Restaurant Equipment Sales, a dealer that works with each individual customer to help make the best equipment investment for each unique foodservice operation.
